Derma MD Clinics was founded in Thane by the internationally trained and highly recommended Dr. Tanvi Vaidya, with an aim to provide a science-driven and evidence backed approach to skin and hair health. With a rising number of unqualified personnel and quacks in the field, Dr. Vaidya wanted to provide patients with legitimate treatments backed by MD Dermatologists.

Dr. Tanvi Vaidya, our founder, is an eminent dermatologist, cosmetologist and trichologist practicing in Thane city.
She has trained at the prestigious Grant Medical College and Sir JJ group of hospitals in Mumbai, and Father Muller Medical College in Mangalore. She has completed her SCE Dermatology of the UK, and has also completed a fellowship in aesthetic medicine.
She has numerous papers and publications to her name, with extensive research work in the field of dermatology. She has presented various papers at national and international conferences. She has won international scholarships at the World Congress of Dermatology at Milan.
Her areas of expertise are core clinical dermatology as well as aesthetic dermatology. She has a state of the art centre, with all the latest lasers, phototherapy systems and operation theatre.
At Derma MD Clinics, she wishes to establish a one-stop centre which caters not just to one sub-speciality of dermatology but a cohesive and holistic treatment centre for clinical dermatology, dermatosurgery, trichology, lasers, vitiligo and aesthetic dermatology.
Dr. Geeta Vaidya is one of the city's senior-most and most well recognized gynaecologists. She has dedicated herself to the field of gynaecology for the last 37 years. Along with her late husband, Dr. Pradeep Vaidya, she established Vaidya Maternity Home 37 years ago, which was Thane's most renowned nursing home and IVF centre at the time.
She has trained at the prestigious Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital in Mumbai. She has a gold medal under her belt, and has won accolades in the field. Ask anyone in Thane about her, and they would know someone who has delivered with Dr. Geeta Vaidya for sure!
Her areas of expertise are menstrual disorders, PCOS and infertility. Dr. Abhishek Oka

Dr. Abhishek Oka is a renowned physician and diabetologist practicing in Thane.
He has completed his MBBS from the prestigious Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Group of Hospitals, Mumbai and his postgraduate degree of DNB (General Medicine) from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. He has been a merit holder in both his undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
He has numerous papers and publications in his name and has won awards for his research at national level conferences. His areas of expertise are diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, metabolic syndrome, adult and travel vaccination and infectious diseases.

Our clinical nutritionist and dietetics expert, Diti Bakhtiani is an expert in weight management, diabetic nutrition and hormone- related weight gain or loss.
